Handheld grounding tester

The HGT1 can be combined with the CPC 100 and CP CU1 to measure step and touch voltages. 

Using the CPC 100 and CP CU1, test currents at variable frequencies can be safely fed into power cables or overhead lines to simulate a ground fault. Step and touch voltages at various locations can be measured at the same time with the handheld HGT1 grounding tester according to EN 50522 and IEEE 81 standards.

Digital filtering makes noise suppression more effective and measurements more accurate.  

  • Mobile, battery operated handheld device - simplifies measurements at various locations inside and outside the substation
  • Simulates body and shoe resistance (as defined in relevant standards)
  • Frequency-selective measurements
